Here's a project that is a "work in progress". Eventually, it will becoe a "sofa" or "hall" table. The top is beetle kill Ponderosa Pine stained with "Natural" Watco Danish Oil three times before applying four coats of hand rubbed gloss Minwax polyurethane. The next step was to apply two coats of gloss water based varnish to give it the sheen I felt was necessary. To finish it off, I applied a coat of Trewax brand wood wax. That really made it glassy smooth and gave it the sheen you see in the photos. The base is Rocky Mountain Red Juniper and is all one piece. It will go through the same process of finishing after I get all the nooks and crannies cleaned out and the surface areas in need of shaping finish sanded.

When finished, this table will be priced at $845.
